We believe the characters you love deserve to exist beyond a screen — as a real, living presence in your everyday life. LYNOOK aims to build the hardware to make that possible. Project L is our first device: a dual-screen desktop diorama where your characters live, move, and grow alongside you.

Yes — Project L is a real working device, not a concept render. Our EVT prototypes are running dual-screen display, real-time 3D scenes, character rendering, and full hardware validation. Final design, software, and features are still being refined before mass production.

Project L is not yet available for full purchase — you can reserve your spot now with a $30 fully refundable deposit on the LYNOOK website. The full launch will be on Kickstarter around Q3 2026.

We're planning to ship to major regions at launch — including the US, Canada, UK, EU, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Singapore. The final shipping list will be confirmed closer to the Kickstarter launch.

Your character lives inside a 3D space on your desk — talking with you, reacting to interactions, expressing emotions, and following daily routines like relaxing, dancing, or sleeping. Over time, characters will develop memory and personality, with behaviors that shift throughout the day and respond to your habits. Some features will roll out gradually through software updates after launch.

No. LYNOOK is designed for anyone who loves virtual characters — not just 3D artists or developers. You won't need to know Blender, Unity, or any professional 3D tools to get started. Our goal is to make character import, scene selection, and personalization as simple as possible.

We plan to support multiple 3D character formats including VRM and MMD, with tools to adjust personality, voice, behavior, and room settings after import — no complicated technical setup required. Supported formats and the full import workflow will be confirmed closer to launch.

Project L is being designed with a flexible AI architecture — we plan to support cloud-based AI interaction first, and are actively exploring local AI capabilities depending on hardware performance and user experience. We're building toward broader model support and deeper customization over time. Content moderation applies to public and community features, not your personal experience with your own character.
